IMG_1826.jpeg

For two millennia, dating back to the era of the Silk Road, the art of glass blowing has graced the landscapes of Afghanistan. With pride and a rich heritage, but today their is only family in Afghanistan who can practice it. Fortunately we have collaborated for 22 years with the last master of mouth-blown glass in Afghanistan, who steadfastly uphold this ancient tradition, employing techniques that have remained unchanged over the centuries.

In our craft, the molten glass, carefully placed on a pipe, meets the timeless touch of tradition. On a stone canvas, we embark on a delicate dance rolling, shaping, and gently blowing, utilizing recycled and naturally sourced colours. With each breath, the glass comes to life, a testament to the enduring beauty of this ancient art form.

Each piece holds its own character — in shape, texture, and colour and when held in your hands, you can even feel its soul.
